The complete medical-German curriculum with translation help in Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Spanish, English and seven more languages.

How the FSP works: it is taken at the regional medical chamber (Landesärztekammer), lasts about 60 minutes and has three parts of roughly 20 minutes each – patient interview, written documentation and doctor-to-doctor talk. KP-Med module

Kenntnisprüfung (KP): exam knowledge, structured like the exam

The KP is an oral-practical exam at the level of the German state examination – about 60 minutes, focused on internal medicine and surgery plus a third subject depending on the federal state. It is required when the equivalence of your foreign degree has not been established.

Funding

Courses and exam fees don't have to come out of your pocket

KLINIKFUCHS is free. On top of that, Germany funds language courses and KP preparation courses – and often the exam fee as well.

BAMF vocational language course C1

The free “Berufssprachkurs Akademische Heilberufe” (C1) from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF); for eligible participants the Fachsprachprüfung fee is covered under BAMF rules.

Anerkennungszuschuss up to €3,000

A federal grant towards the costs of the recognition procedure – including preparation courses for the Kenntnisprüfung.

Bildungsgutschein

For certified (AZAV) preparation courses, the employment agency or Jobcenter can issue an education voucher.

How much does KLINIKFUCHS cost?▾

Nothing. The app is 100% free – no subscription, no trial period, no hidden costs. That applies to the FSP-Med module as much as to the KP-Med module.

Does KLINIKFUCHS run on Android?▾

Yes. KLINIKFUCHS runs as a web app in any browser at app.klinikfuchs.de – on Android, iPhone, tablet and desktop, with nothing to install. For iPhone and iPad it is also available in the App Store.

Does the app replace a preparation course?▾

It complements one. A course gives you speaking practice with teachers and feedback on your pronunciation; KLINIKFUCHS delivers the daily training in between – vocabulary, history-taking, Arztbrief, exam questions – whenever you want and at your own pace.

Which languages is the translation help available in?▾

The medical-German curriculum is available in 13 languages, including Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Spanish and English. The exam content itself stays in German – exactly as it is tested in the FSP and KP.
