Exclusions and rules

Nr. 2401 – The same biopsy only once – superficial (2401) or deep (2402).
Eligible under section C VIII: for outpatient performance a surcharge under no. 442–445 (by points) and possibly no. 440/441 may apply.

Typical occasions in dermatology

Tissue sample from deeper layers such as fat, fascia or muscle, e.g. suspected panniculitis.
