Personal medical service: range 1.0 to 3.5, threshold 2.3 (§ 5(2) GOÄ). A factor above the threshold is only allowed for particular circumstances of the individual case (difficulty, time, circumstances) and must be justified in writing.
Exclusions and rules
- Nr. 204 – The same dressing is billed once; the compression bandage (no. 204) is the more specific service.
- Not billable if the dressing belongs to surgery, puncture, injection or infusion (part of that service).
- Wound dressings under no. 200 linked to surgery (incl. cautery, foreign-body removal), puncture, infusion, transfusion or injection are part of that service (section C, general provisions).
Typical occasions in dermatology
Applying or changing a wound dressing; quick-release and spray dressings do not count. A dressing linked to surgery, puncture, injection or infusion is part of that service.
