How the UAS7 works

The patient rates the number of wheals and itch intensity once daily (over 24 hours). The daily scores (0–6) are summed over seven consecutive days (0–42). The international urticaria guideline recommends the UAS7 for activity and the Urticaria Control Test (UCT) for control.

Which UAS7 indicates well-controlled urticaria?▾

A UAS7 of 1–6 is considered well controlled, 0 urticaria-free (Stull 2017).
